My friend Chris Savory went indie to start creating his own games. He was working on his first game Swap Heroes and approached me to help polish the UI in his game. I took the existing screens he had and reskinned the UI. The first game had a very short deadline as it was already close to launch.
He approached me again to work on the sequel of Swap Heroes. I was able to work with him on earlier production and improved the overall UI flow and art style for the second game. For the second game, I simplified the style I did in the first game since the original design was too detailed and rendered for the art style. The simpler variation of the UI was a much better compliment for it.
